GIF-Slender wheat grass

Slender wheat grass is a type of bunchgrass that is native to southern Canada and the northern United States. It grows well on moist, well-drained soils and has some tolerance to saline soils and drought. Unlike most wheat grasses, it has a short life, seldom more than five years. It is fairly palatable and nutritious at all stages.
