Lilac-flowered beardtongue
Pentstemon gracilis
The pale lilac colour flowers of this plant appear in June- July. Its fruit is the dry many-seeded capsule typical of the beardtongue family. Leaves are gray-green and oblong. It prefers moist grassland and slough margins.
