Trifolium barnebyi

- Synonym: T. haydenii var. barnebyi
- Similar Species: T. haydenii has glabrous leaflets and sepals and grows in alpine or upper montane habitats. T. gymnocarpon has pubescent leaflets with 5-10 widely spaced veins and does not form mats.
- Flowering/Fruiting Period: May-July.
- Distribution: Endemic to the SE Wind River Range, Wyoming (Fremont Co.).
- Habitat: Ledges, crevices, and seams on reddish-cream Nugget Sandstone outcrops. Elev. 5600-6700 ft.
