- Similar Species: T. spathulata and T. condensata have larger flower heads (involucres 8-40 mm wide), and hairy, bumpy-surfaced achenes.
- Flowering/Fruiting Period: May-July.
- Distribution: Endemic to SW Wyoming (Sweetwater and Uinta Cos.).
- Habitat: Rocky slopes of Bishop Conglomerate. Elev. 8500 ft.
