Townsendia condensata var. anomala

- Similar Species: T. condensata var. condensata has wider flower heads (17-40 mm), often with only 1 head per stem. T. spathulata has leaves and petioles pubescent throughout with soft, fine hairs. T. microcephala has glabrous, smooth-surfaced achenes.
- Flowering/Fruiting Period: June-August.
- Distribution: Endemic to Absaroka Mountains, Wyoming (Park Co.).
- Habitat: Sparsely vegetated rocky slopes and ridges. Elev. 6500- 12,000 ft.
