Thelesperma caespitosum

- Synonym: T. subnudum var. caespitosum
- Similar Species: T. pubescens has leaf blades pubescent throughout. T. marginatum has glabrous leaves and petioles and many heads per stem. Hymenopappus spp., in Wyoming, have many heads per stem and woolly-pubescent leaves.
- Flowering/Fruiting Period: May-June.
- Distribution: Endemic to SW Wyoming (Sweetwater Co.) and NE Utah.
- Habitat: White shale slopes and ridges of Green River Formation. Elev. 6300 ft.
