Penstemon gibbensii

- Similar Species: P. saxosorum has leaves over 5 mm wide and glabrous stems and sepals. P. fremontii and P. cyananthus have non-glandular inflorescences and wider leaves.
- Flowering/Fruiting Period: June-September.
- Distribution: Endemic to SC Wyoming (Carbon and Sweetwater Cos.), NE Utah and NW Colorado.
- Habitat: Sparsely vegetated shale or sandy-clay slopes. Elev. 5500-7700 ft.
