Lesquerella paysonii

- Similar Species: L. carinata has strongly flattened fruit with keeled margins and faces. L. fremontii has recurved fruit stalks and smaller flowers and styles. Other Lesquerella spp., in Wyoming, have inflated fruits.
- Flowering/Fruiting Period: May-August.
- Distribution: Endemic to E Idaho, W Montana, and W Wyoming (Lincoln, Sublette, and Teton Cos.).
- Habitat: Rocky, sparsely-vegetated slopes, often on calcareous substrates. Elev. 6000- 10,300 ft.
