Lesquerella macrocarpa

- Similar Species: L. fremontii has slightly flattened fruits with densely pubescent outer walls and hairy inner walls. Other Lesquerella spp., in Wyoming, have linear leaves or fruits borne on S-shaped stalks. Physaria spp. have inflated fruits notched at the top.
- Flowering/Fruiting Period: May-June/July-September.
- Distribution: Endemic to the western edge of the Great Divide Basin.
- Habitat: Gypsum-clay hills and benches, clay flats, and barren hills. Elev. 7200-7700 ft.
