Gaura neomexicana ssp. coloradensis

- Similar Species: G. parviflora is an annual with a narrow, elongate inflorescence and flowers less than 3 mm long.
- Flowering/Fruiting Period: June-September/July-October.
- Distribution: Endemic to SE Wyoming (Laramie Co.), W Nebraska, and NE Colorado.
- Habitat: Sub-irrigated, alluvial soils of drainage bottoms surrounded by mixed grass prairie. Elev. 5800-6400 ft.
