Erigeron lanatus

- Similar Species: E. flabellifolius has broadly fan-shaped leaves and glabrous or short-hairy stems and involucres. E. compositus has twice-compound leaves divided into linear segments.
- Flowering/Fruiting Period: July-August.
- Distribution: S Alberta to NW Montana. Disjunct in C Colorado and the Wind River Range Wyoming (Sublette Co.).
- Habitat: Alpine or subalpine limestone talus slopes. Elev. 11,000 ft.
