Cypripedium fasciculatum

- Similar Species: C. calceolus var. pubescens and C. montanum have large white or yellow lip petals and leafier stems. Epipactis gigantea has taller stems and 3 or more alternate leaves.
- Flowering/Fruiting Period: May-July.
- Distribution: S British Columbia to C California and Montana south to Colorado. Restricted to Medicine Bow and Sierra Madre ranges in Wyoming (Albany and Carbon Cos.).
- Habitat: Dry to moist, open lodgepole pine or spruce-fir forest. Elev. 8000-9400 ft.
