Cymopterus williamsii

- Similar Species: Other Cymopterus spp., in Wyoming, have flattened fruits with prominent ribs or leaves twice or more compound. Shoshonea pulvinata has scabrous fruit. Vegetative specimens of Astragalus miser var. decumbens differ in having pubescent leaves.
- Flowering/Fruiting Period: May-June/June-July.
- Distribution: Endemic to the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming (Big Horn, Johnson, Natrona, and Washakie Cos.).
- Habitat: Open ridgetops and upper slopes with exposed limestone outcrops or rockslides. Elev. 6000-8300 ft.
