Astragalus proimanthus

- Similar Species: A. gilviflorus has larger flowers and spoon-shaped banner petals. A. hyalinus has fiddle-shaped banners that are hairy on the back. Other Astragalus spp. in Wyoming with 3 leaflets have smaller flowers.
- Flowering/Fruiting Period: May-June/June-July.
- Distribution: Endemic to southwestern Wyoming (Sweetwater Co.).
- Habitat: Cushion plant communities on rocky, clay soils mixed with shale on summits and slopes of white shale hills. Elev. 6800-7200 ft.
