Productivity of an Arctic Wolf Pack

This project was supported by the National Geographic Society, the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, United States National Biological Service, and the United States Department of Agriculture North Central Forest Experiment Station. Logistical help of the Polar Continental Shelf Project, Natural Resources Canada; Atmospheric Environment Services (AES), Environment Canada; and High Arctic International are also greatly appreciated. Permits were granted by the Department of Renewable Resources and the Grise Fiord Hunter and Trapper Association of the Northwest Territories. The observations of AES personnel during autumn and the logistical help of one to two field assistants each year who accompanied the author during the study are gratefully acknowledged.
