Drepanulatrix unicalcararia [Geometridae]

Wingspan 4.0 cm. Forewing is gray to red-orange with a narrow, sharply angled postmedian line. This geometrid is widely distributed in western North America. Moths fly in two distinct periods: late spring to early summer and late summer to fall. Caterpillars of all species of Drepanulatrix feed only on the foliage of species of Ceanothus.
