Egira februalis [Noctuidae]


White with bluish grey shading; subdorsal yellow streaks; black spots; tan head with a dorsal black triangular patch; black spiracles. The caterpillar in this photo was reared from a field-collected female. It is not common and feeds on white oak during April and May.
