Black Swallowtail		Papilio polyxenes (Fabricius), 1775
				Habitat: Gardens, prairie hilltops, always near Umbelliferae
				Larval food: Wild Umbelliferae, incl. Daucus, Zizea
				Adult flight: Two broods, May and July
				References: Royer 35, Opler & Krizek 44, Scott 171
				Confirmed occurrences: 13 Jun 1995 (1st brood) and 1 Aug 1995
				(2nd brood) in N 1/2 S35 T135N R54W.

Eastern Tiger Swallowtail	Pterourus glaucus (Linnaeus), 1758
				Habitat: Deciduous woodlands near streams; rare except in SE ND
				Larval food: Prunus, Fraxinus, Betula, Populus, Syringa (lilac)
				Adult flight: Two broods, early June & early August
				References: Royer 37, Opler & Krizek 49, Scott 179
				Confirmed occurrences: Not recorded in the Sheyenne National Grassland
				in 1995, but probable in woodland clearings and roadsides in June and 
				August each year.
