This list is the product of a project conducted under cooperative agreement between Minot State University and the Northern Prairie Science Center of the National Biological Service, U. S. Department of Interior. Field work for the project was completed between May and August, 1995. A primary objective of the project was production of a comprehensive, site-specific butterfly list that could serve as a basis for future monitoring of butterfly populations, and as an aid to management decisions in the Sheyenne National Grassland.
