BNA: Spicebush Swallowtail ; Papilio troilus
NDC: PTTR

Habitat: Woodland clearings and open meadows. A sole historical report exists for this species. P. troilus is an Austral Zone species which could occur in ND only as a rare late-summer stray
Larval food: Sassafras, Lindera
Adult flight: Two broods, occasionally three southward within the species normal range
