  • Habitat: Riparian canyons from Rocky Mountains westward
  • Larval food: Varied; generally Malvaceae, but Urtica, Leguminosae, Labatae also reported
  • Adult flight: Multivoltine, appearing in ND if at all during late summer
  • References: Royer 150, Ferris & Brown 343, Scott 283 (as ssp. of V. carye)
