Habitat: Humid wooded areas, woodland roadsides, riverbottom clearings, margins of woodland meadows; northern and eastern ND only
Larval food: Asteraceae, incl. Helianthus, Aster, Rudbeckia (larvae overwinter in the 3rd stage)
Adult flight: One brood, June into July
