  • BND: Mormon Fritillary; Speyeria mormonia (Boisduval, 1869)
  • BNA: Mormon Fritillary; Speyeria mormonia
  • Habitat: Canadian Zone and alpine habitats in open areas and woodland margins
  • Larval food: Viola spp. (larva overwinters in 1st stage); resident in western Minnesota and Manitoba, but not known to be a breeding resident anywhere in ND
  • Adult flight: Univoltine in July
