Figure 9. Proposed water use change by reducing water consumption by 238,000 acre-feet. Another 189,000 acre-feet will have to be provided to the central Platte through re-regulation of existing water projects. The total shortage of 417,000 acre-feet is based upon daily flow analyses (see Table 19).
