No Common Name (Cicindela wapleri)

Typical body length ranges from 9-11 mm. The dorsal surface is dark coppery brown with green punctures. Maculations are incomplete and join to form a broad white band along the lateral edge of the elytra. Transverse banding is either faint, or absent altogether. Common habitat is pristine white sand shoreline and sand bars along backwaters of large rivers. This is a summer species, and little is known about its ecology.
