No Common Name (Cicindela politula)
Dorsal coloration is coppery brown with blue or green reflections on the head and pronotum. Elytral coloration is blue-black to black. Maculations are not present, or are reduced to an apical lunule only. Murray and Acciavatti (1976) reported that the most common habitat for this species is limestone or calcareous clay and in particular, dirt roads, bare areas, and trails near this type of substrate. |
