Body size ranges from 12-15 mm. Dorsal surfaces are variable in color from coppery-orange to red or brown. Elytral maculations are complete with a marginal band. Habitat for this species is typically an open sandy area, such as dunes and sandy roadsides. This is a spring fall/species.
