Typical body size for this species is 11-13 mm. The dorsal surface is greenish bronze with white on the elytra. Dense setae are present on portions of the thorax and abdomen. Typical habitat is along sandy floodplains and white sand bars of rivers and streams. Little is known about the biology of the species, however, it is a summer species with adults activity from late May to mid-September (Knisely and Schultz 1997). |
