Common adult size ranges between 12-14 mm. Dorsal coloration is commonly greenish-copper or greenish-bronze. Maculations are wide and complete. Common habitats are sandy areas along rivers, shorelines, and beaches in the north east. This is a summer species with either a 1 or 2-year lifecycle. Adults are common from June to August. This species is currently considered a Federally Threatened Species. |
