This tiny (7.5-8 mm) flightless tiger beetle ranges in dorsal coloration from dull olive green to brown. Elytral maculations are broken into dots. Preferred habitats are dry bluffs or hilly prairie. Information on seasonal occurrence for this species is lacking because it is not commonly collected.
