Homemade Nest Boxes For Cavity-Nesting Ducks
Attachment Using A Mounting Board
Top and bottom extensions of the back piece of the single compartment wood nest
box allow for easy attachment to trees or poles (Figure 14). If the back piece
does not leave extensions, a piece of 1-inch lumber 32- to 36-inches long and
4- to 12-inches wide can be attached to the rear of the nest box for this purpose.
