This checklist contains names of birds found in and around Cross Ranch State Park and Cross Ranch Nature Preserve, which is owned and operated by The Nature Conservancy.

The majority of observations of birds included in this list were made by members of the Bismarck-Mandan Bird Club during periodic visits to the area from 1988 to date and also including published records by Gordon Berkey in American Birds, January-February 1983.
