This bird list contains 219 species which have been recorded on the refuge. Another 44 birds, listed under "Accidental" birds, have been reported but are not normally expected to be present.

The English, or common names of birds are in accordance with the American Ornithologists' Union's "Checklist of North American birds" revised in 1989.
