Sheldon National Wildlife Refuge

There are ten species of fish known to occur on Sheldon National Wildlife Refuge. Three species (*) are considered native fish to the area and found in isolated locations; remanent water courses from historic periods when water was abundant and widespread throughout this area. The other fish listed have been introduced in more recent times.
