Group B-2a -- Subgroups: Hairs different lengths - Species in group B-2a have hiars that are equal to or longer than half the width of the body.

Middorsal tufts of short, dense hairs - Species in this subgroup have tufts of relatively short but dense hairs middorsally on A1-A4, characteristic of the Lymantriidae.
