Amphipyra pyramidoides [Noctuidae]
Light green with sparse white spots; black spiracles; white spiracular line with shades of yellow; A8 with large dorsal hump. This species is common on many broadleaf trees and shrubs, in particular big-leaf maple and manzanita, during May and June. It is similar in appearance to Feralia februalis. These two species differ in the appearance of the spiracular longitudinal line.
