Icaricia icarioides fenderi [Lycaenidae]

Solid, bright light green. This subspecies is extremely rare and endemic to the Willametter Valley of Oregon and is under consideration for being listing as threatened. This subspecies only feeds on a rare lupine, Lupinus sulphureus kincaidii during April and May.
