This project was funded by the Regional Grants Program of the National Institute for Water Resources, USGS, and the Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelly Foundation and Ducks Unlimited, Inc. through the Institute for Wetland and Waterfowl Research. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Wetland Offices in Fergus Falls, Detroit Lakes, and Morris, MN assisted in wetland selection and many other logistical aspects, and also allowed us to conduct the research on WPAs.
